Most of us know the classic comics about Tytus, Romek and A’Tomek. Since Tytus was, as we know, a talking chimpanzee, the theme that connects all the parts of the series is his humanization.
Helping him to become human within. We could use such humanization as well. Because look… Sometimes we go dancing somewhere, and despite the fact that we are in a relationship that is important to us, we feel, in the pulse of our intertwined bodies, an attraction to someone else… Later we reject it, explain it somehow, struggle with contradictory opinions about ourselves.
It happens that, in an assault of problems, we want everything to disappear, matters and projects, including our loved ones, we just want to escape … And then we are bitten by the lack of courage, giving ourselves a low grade comes back like a boomerang. Or we see a photo of a friend from primary school on Insta with a beautiful house and an expensive car in the background, and although we pretend to ourselves to be happy with his success, jealousy is gnawing at us…
It’s normal. It’s human.
There is even no need to explain it with evolutionary mechanisms, the nature of our relationship with parents, or past lives.
It’s enough to just acknowledge it.
Accept one’s own humanity. Which is, so to say, biodiverse, and contains within itself a whole range of flavors and qualities.
Let’s humanize ourselves.
